The Newcastle interview
What do they think
about our next game at St James Park
THE CUNNING FOX,
26.08.2009
Leicester are up
against Newcastle in their next game of the season. We are just
behind Newcastle in the race for promotion.
We talked to Michael Martin, a devoted Newcastle United fan who also
is involved running the great fanzine True Faith. He took time to
answer 10 vital questions in front of the Televised game on Monday.
Cover of the latest number of "true faith", answer to questions
below the cover

Who is your best player, and why ?
Stephen Taylor though there's a good chance he could be sold by the
time of the game.
Who is your worst ?
Geremi or Xisco. No, Xisco. £60K pw
and a £6m fee and he can't get a start. Thanks Dennis (Wise).
Your likely line-up ?
Harper - Taylor (R) - Enrique -
Collocini - Taylor (S) - Smith - Guthrie - Nolan - Gutierrez -
Ameobi - Carroll.
Barring injury and more sales.
What will the result be ?
We're not shipping goals and
notching the odd one or two so I'll go for 1-0, NUFC.
How do you have to play to get a good result ?
Keep possession.
Who is the player in the Leicester City team that your fear the most
?
Sorry mate
- no one springs to mind.
What made you a Newcastle supporter ?
My grave misfortune to want to be
like the big lads who stood on the old Leazes End. And everyone else
I knew who was a decent human being. Seriously, supporting anyone
else where I was born and bred marked you out for being a twat.
What is your best memory from a game against Leicester City ?
Several. Winning 2-1 to stay in the
old Div 2 on the last day of the season (91/92). Winning 7-1 on the
last day of the season when we'd won the 2nd Div Championship - Andy
Cole and David Kelly hat-tricks and one from Rob Lee. And the one
where we're losing 3-1 and Shearer gets a hat-trick and we win 4-3.
That was nice.
What is your worst memory from a game against Leicester City ?
Neil Lennon nutting Alan Shearer's
boot.
What will you sing on the day ?
"You fat cockney bastard, get out
of our club!"
