Billy Kee
A unique talent or N Ireland
crisis
THE CUNNING FOX,
06.09.2009
Billy Kee (18)
has been called up to full N Ireland duty. Kee has been called up
after it was clear that Kyle Lafferty will miss the next games.
Kee is currently with Accrington Stanley and on loan at the League 2
club. He has not yet made his Leicester debut and so far only played
four league games for Accrington.
His record at U.19 level is impressive, with four goals in eight
games. He has also played one game for the U.21 team.
He has also impressed during Leicester City's pre-season campaign,
in the reserves and at youth level for the foxes.
A certain Norman Whiteside comes to mind when you see Kee making the
squad at the age of 18, and we all know what he went on to do.
Nigel Pearson should be keeping a close eye on Kee and watch his
progress closeley. Mattock, Stearman, King and Gradel has all made
the grade from City's academy and hopefully Kee will do the same. |
