Foxes never say die
Coventry 1, City 1

THE CUNNING FOX, 04.10.2009

City came back after being 1-0 down at half time. A goal from sub Martyn Waghorn secured a point for City.

The big talk before, under and after the game was the fact that DJ Campbell was back  in the City squad. Campbell came on in the 2nd half, replacing Paul Gallagher.

DJ' form in the reserves has been impressive and Pearson will see the need for the forward in a long and difficult season. City are at the moment fighting a race in the promotion zone.

The fact that we have Wellens and Howard on the bench shows that there is depth in the squad and that we can get results also when good players are either rested or out of form.

Four points from two very difficult away games is great. We will now play at home against Derby and Crystal Palace and two wins here would definately park City in the right end of the table.
