Pearson not leaving City
Mandaric is 100 % certain Nigel will stay

THE CUNNING FOX, 27.04.2010

Milan Mandaric is 100 % certain that Nigel Pearson will stay at Leicester and continue his brilliant work at the club. Let's hope that Milan knows the answers

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has in the past few weeks been linked with Burnley, Celtic and West Ham, but it will of no interest to NP, who will continue to work wonders at City.

Pearson is in the middle of a very exciting time at City and to leave this right now looks unlikely. If we get promoted to the Premier League it looks even more unlikely.

West Ham will probably, after they secured their Premier League status, keep Zola as their manager, while Celtic prbably will try to get Pearson up north.

Burnley is a smaller club than Leicester and they are now at the same level as Leicester, and if the play-off's goes as planned then we will switch with Burnley and a move downwards would not be on Pearsons mind.

Liverpool and Man City could be out looking for a new boss over the summer if they fail in their hunt for glory. That could trigger people at other clubs in the Premier League and make space for Pearson.

Roy Hodgson, Martin O'Neill and a number of other Premier League managers could be considored as a possible target for both Man City and Liverpool.
