season opener
Here is our
new and fresh news bulletin with all the important news from
previous days and weeks.

Transfers Talk:
Tom Kennedy will join City from Rochdale on the 1st of July.
This is the first registrred new signing.
Tom is the nephew of former Liverpool defender Alan Kennedy and
has previously played for Bury.
He was a key player in in Rochdale's promotion this season and a
highly rated player from the lower leagues.
Kenndy is a left footed player mostly used in defence and will
push Bruno Berner for a place in the team.
Should be a good signing for us.
James Wesolowski and Billy Kee have both left the club. Weso
will play for Peterborough next season and
Kee wil be with Torquay.
Rumours:
Robert Pires is a again linked with City, but the former French
international, currently released by Villareal
dismiss speculations about him joiining us.
Last season loan players James Voughan and Jay Spearing are both

Pre-Season:
City have arranged games against Peterborough and Sunderland. For

Carling Cup:
City will play Macclesfield in their first round in the Carling
Cup. Dates for the games are not yet known.

Fixture list:
Leicester will play Crystal Palace in the first game of the
season, and we have a difficult start to the season with Palace away,
Reading, Middlesbrough and Burnley in our first four games.

Where are they now - news on former foxes:
Gerry Taggart will join Paul Dickov at Oldham. Dickov was appointed
manager at Oldham this week and will have Taggart as his assistant.
Taggart was previously in charge of reserve team matters at
Leicester.
