Pearson to Hull ?
Nigel Pearson
is linked with a move to Hull. So far no official comments are made,
either from City or Nigel Pearson. Hull on the other hand is saying
that they are satisfied with the progression and that they feel they
wil get their man early next week, without naming a specific person
This comes
out of open air really and everyone thought that the manager
situation at Leicester was a closed matter and that Pearson would
continue as boss at our club.
Hull has previously been linked with other people than Pearson but
something must be in the air after so many rumours circulating in
the press.
Even a contract pay out fee is mentioned and Hull must pay Leicester
City £ 400 000 to get Pearson.
Hull was not looked up on as a clear promotion favourite after being
relegated from the Premier League last season. Talk about
administration and a massive sell out of players was the headlines.
The fact that Nigel Pearson can see a brighter future at Hull than
at Leicester makes you wonder how on earth that can be. No one never
thought Martin O'Neill would leave Premier League to be a manager up
north in the two team league, but it happened and Leicester City as
a club went into the wilderness.
So if Nigel Pearson leaves who could be the next man to follow him
at Leicester. That is how we are made, when you lose a good man, you
have to start a search for a new one.
Could our former boss Gary Megson return. He left Bolton last season
and was in many ways the only manager to have been a bit of success,
before Pearson.
Other names that has come out of the hat are Danny Wilson, Chris
Coleman and Paul Hart. All of them candidates that are possible to
get in at Leicester. Kenny Jackett at Millwall is also a candidate
mentioned and we all know that iain Dowie is a man Milan earlier
said he had admiration for.
Former Hull City manager Phil Brown is also a manager that has shown
that he knows his business and could be a good candidate, after his
experience with The Tigers.
You could always dream about Mark Hughes and Alan Curbishley, but it
would proably not be an option for them to manage Leicester, if
Nigel Pearson no longer is eager to stay in charge of the club.
If Pearson leaves it's like it always has been with Leicester, they
never manage to hold on to their best people, why ?
